I used to blame absolutely everything and everyone for my extra flab...
..and as much as I would like to forget about that, it is an important part of my story.
Because like so many women, I just didn't know the way my metabolism TRULY worked .
And it cost me years and years of wasted time, money.. and even undeserved resentment against my husband.
It feels vain to admit it, but the extra pounds had a massive impact on my self-esteem.
In all honesty.. It wasn't until I turned 50 that I started to step up and take responsibility for my health.

At first I tried to burn the fat by exercising.. Spinning classes, yoga and even weight training.
Unfortunately, the classes were really expensive, and they took hours of my time every day as I drove there, worked out, showered and changed.
So I tried to tackle the problem by diets.. but all the diets just told me to try something totally different.
Apparently, keto and mediterranean don't go together. And paleo.. doesn't go with anything.
It was confusing and frustrating.. And the stubborn fat just staid on my thighs, hip and belly no matter what I tried.
So I decided to go for a physical and explained to the doctor this neverending trap I felt I was in.
He simply told me "Diets and exercise just aren't enough, if your metabolism efficiency and speed is not working as it should be. I have just the thing for your issues."
Then he wrote me a note and handed it to me.
"Check out this video when you get home and you'll understand what I mean. Even my wife has been using it.."
So as soon as I got home, I watched the whole video and followed the advice in it.
Within the first week, I started feeling more energetic, a little bit lighter.
And by the start of summer.. something amazing had happened. I was down by 34 pounds and fitting into my old clothes again.
I am full of energy and I feel so happy about this!
